Although Cain hasn't fought since UFC 200 in 2016 (where he dismantled Travis Browne) to me he’s the X factor in the heavyweight division. With wins over Junior Dos Santos, Brock Lesnar and Minotauro Nogueira on his record, Cain is highly touted as one of the best heavyweights ever. Cain’s a jujitsu black belt, NCAA D1 wrestler, and a former heavyweight champ. Cain dons the nickname “Cardio Cain” as he’s able to swarm and break down his opponents with constant pressure. Cain’s also 4th all time In strikes landed per minute, to hold that stat as a heavyweight is absurd.

Not only is Yoel Romero built like a ninja turtle, he has the athletic ability of an nba superstar. Yoel looks like he’s been doing 100 pound shrugs every day since he was born. The former Olympic silver medalist in freestyle wrestling made the switch to mma in 2009 and didn’t miss a beat. Romero has 10 KO wins on his record, including a viscous flying knee on Chris Weidman. He happens to be fighting Luke Rockhold next month for the Middleweight title.

Lomachenko' amateur boxing record is 396-1. Just think about how many people this man has beaten up in his life. Regarded by many as the best pound for pound boxer in the world, the Ukrainian has multiple Olympic gold medals and some impressive wins; Most recent being against Guillermo Rigondeaux. “No Mas chenko” has made a habit of making his opponents look foolish and forcing them to retire in their corner. With his ability, creativity and footwork the sky’s the limit for Loma.

6 foot 5 and 260 pounds, Verhoeven is currently the Glory heavyweight kickboxing champion of the world. Rico started training martial arts at age 5 and by 16 he was kicking grown men in the face. Verhoeven has worked closely with Tyson fury perfecting his boxing and is known for his deadly kicks. With 53 wins on his record, the dominant kickboxer has to be included in this list.

There’s something about being born in Dagestan that’s scary in itself. Khabib Nurmagomedov is currently undefeated, which is unheard of in the UFC. With an impressive record of 25-0, “The Eagle” has made a career of suffocating his opponents with some of the most relentless grappling and violent ground and pound I’ve ever seen. There’s an actual video of Khabib wrestling a bear as a child online (seriously, look it up). In his most recent win, Khabib made Edson Barboza look like he had no business being in the octagon. Many are wondering what’s next for the Russian with the possibility of a title fight with either Tony Ferguson or Conor mcGregor looming.

I watch Wilder vs Stiverne 2 at least once a day. No disrespect to Stiverne, but the beating Wilder lays on him in that fight isn’t only brutal it’s hilarious. The 6’7 WBC heavyweight champ has an impressive 39-0 record and is a terrifying human being. “The Bronze Bomber” holds a knockout to win ratio of 97.4% and has 19 first round knockouts. Many are looking forward to his next bout against a dangerous Luis Ortiz.

This man has taken the UFC’s heavyweight division by storm with his explosive punching power and terrifying demeaner. “The Predator” had one of the most brutal knockouts I’ve ever seen in his fight against decorated striker Alstair overeem. Ngannou now holds the record for worlds hardest punch generating 129,161 units.

Can’t include Wilder without putting Joshua in this list. At 6’6 250 pounds and a build like a superhero, Joshua is a one of the most physically imposing fighters on earth. At 20-0 with 20 knockouts, Joshua’s been dominant in the ring. His only test coming in against legend Wladimir Klitschko, whom he eventually knocked out in round 11 after an incredible fight. The unified world heavyweight champ will be fighting Joseph Parker in March in what should be an interesting bout.

I couldn’t make this list without including Stipe. Stipe is a firefighter from Cleveland with a knack for knocking people unconscious. With 5 knockouts in a row, and 4 of them coming in the first round, he’s been running a train on the UFC’s heavyweight division. Stipe recently just defeated Francis Ngannou in a lopsided beat down.

Personal issues and steroid allegations aside, I had to include Jon Jones in this list because I think his accomplishments can’t be ignored. Jones became the youngest ever UFC champion and is regarded by many as the best ever. With an 84.5 inch reach and a 6’4 frame nobody’s been able to stop the former NCAA Division 1 wrestler. With his doping allegations still ongoing, many are wondering what’s next for Jones and if we will ever see him in the octagon again.
